Bare Behind Bars- Hands down, the best WIP movie I've ever seen. Has everything that makes the genre so entertaining. Plus some really hot scandinavian chicks. Eng Sub.

Bloodsucking Freaks - Classic horror flick about a stageshow that totures and kills people on stage, only it's all real.

Blood Diner - Cheesy, Troma-style black comedy about two guys trying to resurrect an ancient goddess, Shita, by assembling body parts of various whores (?). The only part I remember is some lady's head gets deep fried and then knocked off with a broomstick.

Burning Moon - More of a gory, slasher/horror than the splattery Premutos (which he made after this), the violence is generally more drawn out and less cartoonish. The odd premise is that of a hoodlum teen, played by Ittenbach himself, telling horrific bedtime stories to his little sister. The first story is a more or less average slasher (albeit with the more gore) about a girl dating a psycho guy who kills her whole family. The other story about a priest who is secretly evil (aren't they all?) is what makes the movie worth watching. The scene depicting of purgatory is a especially cool and horrific. Carbine High - Shot-on-video Columbine parody. Rather funny at times, and I guess it has some socio-political commentary, but you'll want this for the pure lack of political correctness. Kind of old news, but still offensive.

Classroom Scare Films - Collection of 1950's classroom propanganda films ranging from smoking, to alcohol, to sexually transmitted diseases. Cool.

Cutting Moments - Hmm, Tom Savini wasn't kidding when he called this one of the most disturbing films ever. The tape is actually a collection of short films which, like most collection, is uneven. There are a few memorable' ones though, like the talking oatmeal one, which has some indefinable cult appeal (at least in my opinion). Anyway, the main short film is called Cutting Moments, which disturbs with skill. You'll want to take a shower after watching it. Check it out.

Day of the Beast - Dark comedy about a priest who is trying to summon the devil by sinning as much as he can. Not as heavy as the description sounds. Very entertaining. Eng Sub.

Demon Beast Teacher - More live action, LA Blue Girl-type, tentacle-monsters raping girls, but this is set in a Japanese all girls High School. [Jap, no subs]

Dollman vs. The Demonic Toys- Rare cult movie about a cop who was shrunk, Brick Bardo, fighting against evil toys. It's pretty funny to see the evil baby doll sexually harass Brick's girlfriend. Made by Full Moon Entertainment, same guys who did Puppet Master. It would make good MST3K fodder.

Ebola Syndrome - One of my favorites. Another cool psycho performance by Anthony Wong. He plays a guy who gets dumped on most of his life, then finds he is a carrier for the Ebola Syndrome, but is immune to it. Then he goes around spreading the disease to others raping, spitting, killing, and other fun/depraved activities. The only thing is the deaths in the movie are just seizures, instead of the bleeding from every orafice symptoms of real life. Enjoy the exploitative thrills, then feel guilty as you think about the recent real-life outbreak of Ebola in Uganda. What the hell's wrong with you anyway? [Chinese w/ Eng Subtitles]

El Topo - Alexandro Jordorowsky's classic surrealistic movie set in the Old West. Crazy imagery and symbolism. I like Holy Mountain much better, though.

Escape from the Brothel- Really cool HK exploitation action film. Includes a kung fu fight scene with a chick who's totally naked. She gets her ass kicked then gets raped. Also has other sexual torture scenes with hot chicks.

Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters - Troma release. They dubbed over some goofy foreign movie about female wrestlers. It doesn't have the genius of MST3K, but it's still funny and quotable. Worth watching.

For Your Heights Only- James Bond ripoff starring a Philipino midget! The dude looks like a monkey. He has a bunch of gadgets just like Bond, and does some hilarious Midget Fu stuff. Eng dubbed.

Guinea Pig: The Devil's Experiment - Fake torture tape. Fairly realistic and disturbing.

Fudoh: The New Generation - Very cool and stylistic Japanese film about a group of young teenagers rising up against the corruption of the older generation of Yakuza. This movie oozes style, and I don't mean they just John Wooed the fucker to death either. (John Woo subtext- Woo's style has become a parody of itself. See Counter-culture Rant #3.) It's violent, original, and Japanese. What more do you need. Oh, first-graders poppin' caps and strippers shooting darts from their vaginas you say? Yeah, that's in there. [Japanese dialogue, English subtitles]

Heaven's Gate Initiation Tape - The tape they used to recruit morons into the Heaven's Gate cult.

the Holy Mountain - Jordorowsky's cult classic. A masterpiece of surrealism and weirdness! A must-see for anyone. Too much insanity and craziness to describe here, just get this movie!

Island of Perversion- (AKA Island of Death) A total sleaze-fest. Two lovers visit a Greek Island and entertain themselves with fucking, rape, torture, murder, decapitation, dismemberment, and bestiality with a goat.

I Spit on Your Grave - Rape revenge flick.

Jeff Towne- Documentary about a retarded guy named Jeff Towne. His friends recount the many hilarious anecdotes which accompany knowing a mentally handicapped person. We also follow Jeff through his daily activities: waking up a 2PM every day, farting, going to the video arcade at the local movie theatre, fondling chicks and getting away with it, farting, generally acting like a retard, etc. You'll laugh your ass off...until you realize this guy is having more fun than you. Damn.

LA Blue Girl - Live action. Based on the Anime of the same name. Has all nudity and tentacle monster sex from the cartoon, except it's live action. [Jap, no subs]

Last House on the Left - The rape, revenge film that started it all. To bad the director had to sell out and make Scream.

The Laughing Dead - An unreleased movie that deserves to be unreleased. Has to do with some Mayan god.

Masters of The World - A violent cave-man epic, like Quest for Fire. Some features are decapitations and crushed babies.

Meet the Feebles - Peter Jackson movie with puppets with problems like a heroin addicted frog. Sounds funnier than it is.

Mr. No Legs - About a wheel-chair bound cop nicknamed Mr. No Legs. He even has a shotgun attached to his chair. Haven't been interested enough to watch the whole thing, it's appeal is mostly the novelty of the premise (like Crippled Masters).

Neon Genesis Evangelion Eps 1-26 subtitled - The best anime series ever. Recorded off VCD original, excellent picture quality. I can tape any or all episodes.

Perversion for Profit - Incredibly entertaining 50's film about the dangers of pornography and perversion.

Premutos- Awesome splatter/horror movie, the only film that comes close to The Story of Ricky. It's about a demon called Premutos that keeps getting resurrected throughout time, and each time it does, gory chaos ensues. Goes from medievel times, to civil war, etc, up to present day Germany where most of the film takes place. The last half hour of this movie is a complete, over-the-top bloodbath when a bunch of zombies appear and (as always) line up to be killed by the small group of people armed to the teeth. But what makes this movie even better, is the hilarious dark humor peppered throughout. The director/actor Olaf Ittenbach is one bad mo who knows what's cool. The movie is all in German, yet is still far more enjoyable than 90% or anything else out there. This is definitly one of my favorites. My copy is also not the best video quality (a few gens down), so I suggest you track down a better quality copy if you like it. [German, no subs]

Progeria Documentary - (Old before their time). If you've never heard of Progeria, it's a disease that causes children to age incredibly rapidly, and results in them all bearing an uncanny resemblence to Yoda. There are only about 20 of them in the world. Learn more about this terrible, but amazing disease.

Red Nights of the Gestapo - Average Nazi sleaze film that had me bored. All sex, torture, etc. was insinuated softcore stuff. Not nearly as good as the Blackest Heart description makes it sound. Eng Sub. Uncut.

Sadomania - Good WIP movie.

Shogun Assassin - Cool, bloody Samurai film about a Samurai, named Lone Wolf, and his son traveling the road to hell, and kicking, and slicing up everybody's ass along the way. I love when the little toddler helps his dad kill the bad guys by pressing a button that shoots out spikes or something (that kid's so cool).

S.S. Girls - This goofy-ass Nazi sleaze movie had me laughing out loud on several occasions. From the main character's constantly spastic overacting, to the guy dressed up as a Nazi version of the Pope (complete with swastikas on his hat), to poorly faked bestiality, this movie is high quality entertainment. Eng dub.

the Story of Ricky - Needs no introduction. A must-see. Eng dubbed (I have the subbed too, but the quality is crappy).

the Streetfighter- Sonny Chiba's well-known martial arts movie. Supposedly the first movie rated X for violence. Sonny's spaz-fu gets really annoying (in an obvious attempt to have a different style of posing than Bruce Lee, he ends up looking like a cerebal palsy patient). If you don't take it as a serious martial arts movie, it might entertain you. Oh, and he rips some guys groin off. What a cheap-ass bitch. [Chinese, Eng subs].

Street Trash- Classic cult movie about a bunch of bums who drink a crappy brand of liquor called Viper that instantly causes them to melt. Very entertaining movie, not because of the gore (which you could find anywhere), but because of the , witty banter, quirky portrayals of the bums, subtle humor, and the cruelest game of keep away ever (use your imagination). Worth repeat watching (like all cult movies, duh).

Tard Spasm: The Extended Version - Go to Blackest Heart Media for a description. If you are not completely offended, I highly recommend this tape.

Tetsuo II: Body Hammer - Sequel to Tetsuo: Iron Man. Raw, visually intense film about a man becoming a machine.

Tokyo Fist - Another raw intense film from the maker of the Tetsuo movies (Shinya Tsukmoto). Like the others, not enough action for me.

the Untold Story - Awesome movie about a psycho, played expertly by Anthony Wong, who works in a restaurant and feeds his victims to the customers. Intense and violent rape and murder scenes. Kills the restaurant owner while his kids watch, then kills the kids. The police use torture tactics on the psycho (like injecting water under his skin) when he's finally captured. Wong won best actor award in Hong Kong for this, which is surprising, not because of Wong's lack of acting talent (which is superb) but simply because of the extremely graphic nature of this film wouldn't normally allow widespread acclaim. Definitely one of my favorites. Eng sub.

Violent Shit 3: Infantry of Doom - Awesome splatter film on a low-budget. Andreas Schnauss (who directed this film) and Olaf Ittenbach are possibly the only directors doing really splatter the right way. Completely over-the-top in violence, plot, and characters. Don't let the mostly shot-on-video quality and often cheap props stop you from enjoying this movie; all the budget went into the gore effects, which are excellent. Also, the periodic use of a grainy film effect during powerful scenes adds to the atmosphere of horror. Amateur film directors should take watch this to see how to do a good movie on a limited budg- fuck that... all you Hollywood types should watch this to see how to make a good horror movie. A fun, exploitative plot and creatively sadistic splatter. And some zombies, damnit. When did they decide to stop making cool zombie movies anyway? [German dialogue, English subtitles]

Women's Camp 119 - A great sleaze movie. A WIP classic second only to Bare Behind Bars.

Zombie - Horror classic. Remember the splinter in the eyeball scene? Ouch.
